I seem to be incredibly lucky, given the amount of time I spend hiking and the fact that I haven't gotten lyme disease (especially since my dad got a really bad case). One suggested method is to put l...Ah, tick season. One suggested method is to put liquid soap on a cotton ball and plant that on the tick for a little while. Eventually the little booger comes off with the cotton ball -- but it works best on small ticks, not engorged ones. Another good method if you're not in a hurry is a hot soapy bath with the tick submerged frequently or continuously.
